The H-157/AIC headset was introduced in the early 1960s as the standard equipment for air crew and passengers not wearing (or not required to wear) protective helmets.
The H-157/AIC had quite a long service life within Swiss AF. The last examples were phased out in 2014, replaced by David Clark's
