Here we have two examples of early Siemens LKpW 64 flying helmets with the single integrated laryngophone in the right chin strap. One specimen is unfortunately lacking the wiring loom. They were used by the Swiss in their Junkers Ju 52 “flying classrooms” to train radio operators and navigators. The complete helmet features an unknown plug, while “Ju 52” is engraved on the right aluminum ear cup.
