SWISS AF PILOT 1920's - 1930's
The tan colored Swiss manufactured flying suit came in a summer and a winter version, the latter featuring fur lining. Our mannequin is furthermore wearing a leather flying helmet, Ratti “Protector” goggles and high, brown leather boots.
The suit is equipped with a broad canvas belt and button-adjusted straps around the wrists and ankles to provide a weatherproof fit around gloves and boots.
The flying helmet is lined with fur and features an adjustable chinstrap with eyelets, earflaps, a neck collar and goggle-strap loops.
The Ratti “Protector” goggles are of the type preferred in open cockpits with an integrated leather facemask for added protection.
