SPH-4
Standard configured SPH-4, the first specifically dedicated helicopter helmet of the Swiss AF. If required it could also be used on propeller aircraft like the Pilatus PC-6 and PC-7.

A small number of SPH-4 are still in the Swiss AF inventory as loaner helmets, issued temporarily to pilot school candidates during the first screening/selection phase.
During its SAF service life the SPH-4 was fitted with (ANVIS), i.e. AN/AVS-6 and AN/AVS-9.
